Special Weather Statement issued January 12 at 3:13PM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA
Snow will briefly mix with rain and sleet at precipitation onset
late this afternoon and evening. While road temperatures are warm
at this time, briefly high snowfall rates are possible. This
could lead to isolated slippery road conditions and 1 to 3 inches
of accumulation.
Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow covered roads and reduced visibilities. Slow
down and allow extra time when traveling.
