High Wind Warning issued January 12 at 11:20AM CST until January 12 at 3:00PM CST by NWS Corpus Christi TX
* WHAT...Northwest winds 30 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.
* WHERE...Inland Kleberg, Inland Nueces, Inland San Patricio,
Coastal Kleberg, Coastal Nueces, Coastal San Patricio, Kleberg
Islands and Nueces Islands Counties.
* WHEN...Until 3 PM CST this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be
difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around
trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of
your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if
you must drive.
