Description
A series of cold fronts is expected to affect many areas of Texas beginning Friday and lasting into the middle of next week.
The initial cold front begins affecting North and Central TX Friday with overnight temps below freezing and high winds.
Second front arrives affecting much of TX toward end of weekend and into Monday with initial high winds and freezing temps lasting 1-2 days, depending on location.
ERCOT has issued a Weather Watch notifying customers that severe cold will lead to increased energy use and may reduce reserves.
Please protect your pipes, pets, and loved ones appropriately!
