Coastal Flood Advisory issued January 10 at 7:48AM EST until January 10 at 9:00PM EST by NWS Mount Holly NJ
* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in low-
lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.
* WHERE...Kent MD, Queen Annes, Talbot and Caroline Counties.
* WHEN...Until 9 PM EST this evening.
* IMPACTS...At this level, flooding begins on the most
vulnerable roads in bayside communities and along tidal
waterways. Some partial or full road closures are possible.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tide levels may linger near minor flood
stage even near low tide.
If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.
