Flood Warning issued January 10 at 5:41AM EST until January 10 at 11:30AM EST by NWS Mount Holly NJ

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of east central Pennsylvania, including the
following counties, Berks and Lehigh.

* WHEN...Until 1130 AM EST.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 535 AM EST, River Gages at Spangville on the Manatawny
Creek, Trexlertown on the Little Lehigh Creek, and
Trexlertown at Spring Creek are in moderate flood stage.
Rivers have crested however flooding is current ongoing.
Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
- For Little Lehigh at Trexlertown near Little Lehigh Creek:
At 5:15am the stage was 5.83 feet.
Flood Stage is 4.5 feet.

For Spring Creek at Trexlertown at Spring Creek:
At 4:30am the stage was 6.22 feet.
Flood Stage is 4.5 feet.

For Schuylkill River at Reading:
At 5:15am the stage was 12.27 feet.
Flood Stage is 15.5 feet.

For Manatawny Creek at Spangville:
At 5:15am the stage was 6.92 feet.
Flood Stage is 6 feet.

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most
flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
