Coastal Flood Warning issued January 9 at 11:01PM EST until January 10 at 3:00PM EST by NWS Mount Holly NJ
* WHAT...Two to four feet of inundation above ground level in
low- lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.
* WHERE...In New Jersey, Mercer, Gloucester, Camden and
Northwestern Burlington. In Pennsylvania, Delaware,
Philadelphia and Lower Bucks.
* WHEN...Until 3 PM EST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...At this level, flooding may become severe enough to
cause some structural damage along with widespread roadway
flooding near tidal waterways. Some locations may become
isolated by the flood waters.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The highest tide is expected tonight, but
with continued runoff from heavy rain on Wednesday, the next
high tide cycle Wednesday afternoon will bring additional
moderate to possibly near major flooding.
Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If
travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through
water of unknown depth.
