Flood Warning issued January 9 at 7:30PM EST until January 10 at 12:15AM EST by NWS Mount Holly NJ
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Portions of New Jersey, including the following counties,
Hunterdon and Mercer and Pennsylvania, including the following
counties, Berks, Bucks, Lehigh and Montgomery.
* WHEN...Until 1215 AM EST.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 729 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated an area of very heavy
rainfall across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in
the warned area.
- For Perkiomen Creek at East Greenville:
At 7:15pm the stage was 5.21 feet and rising.
Flood Stage is 5 feet.

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most
flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
