Alachua County in northern Florida...
Marion County in northern Florida...
Northwestern Putnam County in northeastern Florida...
Southwestern Clay County in northeastern Florida...
* Until 400 PM EST.
* At 257 PM EST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Alachua to 15 miles west of Rainbow Lakes
Estates, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Gainesville, Ocala, Rainbow Lakes Estates, Interlachen, Melrose,
Fort McCoy, Citra, Lynne, Alachua, and Hawthorne.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
