Wind Advisory issued January 9 at 1:23PM EST until January 10 at 3:00AM EST by NWS Mount Holly NJ
* WHAT...South winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 55 mph
expected.
* WHERE...Portions of central and northern Delaware, northeast
Maryland, central, northern, northwest and southern New Jersey
and east central, northeast and southeast Pennsylvania.
* WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 3 AM EST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
result.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest winds are expected to occur
this evening, and these could be locally enhanced with a narrow
line of intense showers tonight. In addition, saturated ground
after multiple rounds of heavy rainfall over the last month has
resulted in trees being more vulnerable to strong winds.
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
