Description
All properties in Red Lion Borough are currently required to affix house numbers as to be plainly visible from the sidewalk of the street upon which said houses, stores, or other buildings are erected but in no event less than four inches high and with a stroke width of less than 1/2 inch. This assists first responders to find you in an emergency, friends and family to locate your home, as well as the delivery of packages and mail. We are also encouraging property owners that abut other alleys, roadways, and lanes to post a number on the rear of your dwelling, fence, or garage on the rear facing of the property. This will help first responders, trash pick-up, and public works to ensure they are identifying the correct property when there is a need to do so. Trash and public works might not be a big deal if there is an error, but emergency services could be life of death. Thank you for helping them help you.
