Coastal Flood Warning issued January 9 at 9:09AM EST until January 10 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Mount Holly NJ
* WHAT...Two to three feet of inundation above ground level
expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal
waterways.
* WHERE...Kent MD, Queen Annes, Talbot and Caroline.
* WHEN...From 3 PM this afternoon to 7 AM EST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...At this level, flooding may become severe enough to
cause some structural damage along with widespread roadway
flooding in bayside communities and near tidal waterways. Some
locations may become isolated by the flood waters. At this
level, widespread roadway flooding occurs in bayside
communities and along tidal waterways. Some roads become
impassable. Minor damage to vulnerable structures may begin to
occur.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Lingering minor coastal flooding may
persist into Wednesday.
Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If
travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through
water of unknown depth.
