High Wind Warning issued January 8 at 3:32AM EST until January 9 at 10:00PM EST by NWS Cleveland OH
* WHAT...Southeast winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
expected.
* WHERE...Northern Erie and Southern Erie Counties.
* WHEN...From 10 AM to 10 PM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be
difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The highest wind gusts will occur along and
north of Interstates 86 and 90 in Erie County, Pennsylvania.
People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around
trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of
your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if
you must drive.
