Winter Storm Warning issued January 6 at 3:15AM EST until January 6 at 10:00PM EST by NWS State College PA
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total accumulations of 6 to 8
inches.
* WHERE...The Central Mountains of Pennsylvania.
* WHEN...From 8 AM to 10 PM EST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult, especially during the
afternoon and early evening.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The snow will fall heavily at times
between noon and 6 pm, with much lighter snow after 7 pm.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania
Turnpike Commission strongly encourage motorists to heed all
travel restrictions and delay unnecessary travel as significant
winter weather conditions will make travel very hazardous.
