PROCLAMATION OF SNOW EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, a significant amount of snow is forecasted to fall in North York Borough, York County, Pennsylvania, beginning the afternoon of Saturday, January 6, 2024 that will be a threat to life and property and will continue into the afternoon hour on Sunday.

NOW THEREFORE, under authority provided in Code of Ordinances Chapter 75 – Traffic, Schedule 1, the Mayor, declared that a Snow Emergency will be in effect beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024 until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 7, 2024. As part of the Snow Emergency, all motorized vehicles that are parked on the streets designated as Snow Emergency Routes are to be removed so that snow plowing can be done effectively and the streets kept open.
