Winter Storm Warning issued January 5 at 12:23PM EST until January 7 at 1:00AM EST by NWS State College PA
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8
inches.
* WHERE...Portions of central Pennsylvania.
* WHEN...From 10 AM Saturday to 1 AM EST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour
are most likely during the late afternoon through the evening.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania
Turnpike Commission strongly encourage motorists to heed all
travel restrictions and delay unnecessary travel as significant
winter weather conditions will make travel very hazardous.
