Winter Storm Watch issued January 5 at 3:02AM EST until January 7 at 10:00AM EST by NWS State College PA
* WHAT...Heavy wet snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 4
to 6 inches possible.
* WHERE...York County.
* WHEN...From Saturday morning through Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...The worst travel conditions are expected Saturday
afternoon and evening, especially north and west of the City of
York, with snowfall rates in excess of one inch per hour at
times creating snow covered roads and poor visibility.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Mixed precipitation will cut down on
accumulations, especially over southeastern parts of the county.
There is the potential for significant winter weather that may
impact travel.
