Winter Storm Watch issued January 4 at 2:29PM EST until January 7 at 10:00AM EST by NWS State College PA

* WHAT...Heavy snow and mixed precipitation possible. Total snow
accumulations of 4 to 7 inches and ice accumulations of a light
glaze possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central Pennsylvania.

* WHEN...From Saturday morning through Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...The worst travel conditions are expected Saturday
afternoon through Saturday night, especially along Interstates
80 and 81, with snowfall rates in excess of one inch per hour
at times creating snow covered roads and poor visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Mixed precipitation will cut down on
accumulations over the Lower Susquehanna River Valley, but the
transition zone is still uncertain at this time.

There is the potential for significant winter weather that may
impact travel.
