Description
Special Weather Statement issued December 31 at 8:57PM EST by NWS State College PA

Bands of snow will continue overnight into early Monday morning.
Temperatures will be near or at freezing, especially across the
higher elevations. While most areas will see little accumulation,
icy spots could form on untreated surfaces. This being especially
the case on ramps and bridges. Highest accumulations will be
across the ridge tops in the Laurel Highlands, where several
inches of snow is expected.

Everyone planning to travel this evening and post- midnight for
New Year's Eve festivities are urged to use extra care. Remember
that bridges usually freeze before the road surface. Also a road
that looks just wet may be icy.
