Starting in January, Republic Services will begin dropping off new trash and recycling carts. These carts are provided at no additional cost to you as they are property of Republic Services. We are delivering these carts to make it safer for our employees. By providing these carts we can start using an automated truck in Spring Grove Borough which decreases the risk of serious injury for our employees. This also means we don’t have to have a person hanging on the back of a truck.
Please ensure your trash and recycling are out for pickup the night before service. Republic Services will begin picking trash up in the new carts on Friday, February 2, 2024. Again, there is no additional cost for these carts, they are being provided for free by Republic Services.
