Coastal Flood Advisory issued December 18 at 10:00AM EST until December 18 at 12:00PM EST by NWS Mount Holly NJ
* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level in
low- lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.
* WHERE...Queen Annes, Talbot and Caroline.
* WHEN...Until noon EST today.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only
isolated road closures expected.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...This is mainly for the back bays of
Sussex County as water is trapped within the bays for a while
today.
If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.
