Flood Warning issued December 18 at 8:39AM EST until December 18 at 1:45PM EST by NWS Mount Holly NJ
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Pennsylvania,
including the following counties, in east central Pennsylvania...
Berks. In southeast Pennsylvania...Chester and Montgomery.
* WHEN...Until 145 PM EST.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 837 AM EST, the USGS river gauge on Manatawny Creek at
Spangville remained above flood stage. Flooding will continue
through the day. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen
since last evening.
- For Manatawny Creek at Spangville:
At 8:15am the stage was 7.3 feet.
Flood Stage is 6 feet.

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most
flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
