Flood Warning issued December 18 at 5:31AM EST until December 18 at 8:15AM EST by NWS Mount Holly NJ

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of northern Delaware, including the following
county, New Castle. Portions of southern New Jersey, including the
following county, Gloucester. Portions of southeast Pennsylvania,
including the following counties, Chester and Delaware.

* WHEN...Until 815 AM EST.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 530 AM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Flooding
is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area.
Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. An additional
inch of rain is possible.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Wilmington, Chester, Yeadon, Westtown, Folcroft, Swarthmore,
Elsmere, Kennett Square, East Lansdowne, Newport, Arden, and
Chelsea.

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most
flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
