Flood Watch issued December 18 at 4:24AM EST until December 18 at 7:00PM EST by NWS State College PA
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following
areas, Adams, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Juniata, Lancaster,
Lebanon, Montour, Northern Lycoming, Northumberland, Perry,
Schuylkill, Snyder, Southern Lycoming, Sullivan, Tioga, Union and
York.
* WHEN...Through this evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Rainfall totals between 2.5 to 3 inches with additional
rainfall of 0.5 to 1.0 inches expected across the watch area.
Locally higher amounts are possible in some heavier rain
bands. Rain will decrease in intensity throughout the morning
hours before tapering off this afternoon.

Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
