Flood Advisory issued December 17 at 1:25AM EST until December 17 at 5:00AM EST by NWS Jacksonville FL

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast and northern Florida, including the
following counties, in northeast Florida, Flagler, Putnam and St.
Johns. In northern Florida, Alachua, Bradford, Columbia, Gilchrist
and Marion.

* WHEN...Until 500 AM EST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 123 AM EST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated widespread heavy rain across the advisory area.
Minor flooding is likely or expected to begin shortly in the
advisory area. Between 3 and 4 inches of rain have fallen
based on gage reports and radar estimates...with up to 5
inches in parts of Marion County.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Gainesville, Palm Coast, Ocala, Saint Augustine, Palatka,
Rainbow Lakes Estates, Flagler Beach, Bunnell, Trenton,
Crescent City, Interlachen, Pomona Park, Hastings, Bell, Fort
McCoy, Citra, Melrose, Salt Springs, Lynne and Juniper
Springs.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
