Special Weather Statement issued December 10 at 6:00PM EST by NWS Mount Holly NJ
At 559 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking heavy showers and perhaps
some embedded thunder along a line extending from near Langford to
near Rock Hall to Romancoke to Talbot to near Tilghman Island to
Taylors Island. Movement was northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Easton, Centerville, Talbot, Chestertown, Denton, Centreville,
Federalsburg, Greensboro, Oakland, Ridgely, Rock Hall, Trappe, St.
Michaels, Church Hill, Preston, Oxford, Millington, Sudlersville,
Betterton, and Goldsboro.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
