Winter Storm Warning issued December 10 at 2:46PM EST until December 11 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Albany NY

* WHAT...Heavy wet snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 5 to
10 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph on Monday.

* WHERE...Portions of the Adirondacks, Mohawk and Schoharie
valleys and eastern Catskills in eastern New York.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 7 PM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult due to snow covered roadways
and low visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the
morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rain will change to a heavy, wet snow
tonight and continue through Monday afternoon. The weight of the
snow combined with gusty winds could lead to downed trees and
power lines resulting in some power outages. The higher snowfall
amounts will occur at elevations above 1500 feet.

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
