The National Weather Service in Ruskin has issued a
* Special Marine Warning for...
Coastal waters from Englewood to Tarpon Springs FL out 20 NM...

Waters from Englewood to Tarpon Springs FL out 20 to 60 NM...
Waters from Tarpon Springs to Suwannee River FL out 20 to 60 NM...
* Until 400 PM EST.
* At 223 PM EST, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
waterspouts were located along a line extending from 16 nm
southwest of Suwannee River to 48 nm southwest of Cedar Key to 30
nm west of Anclote Key to 47 nm west of Egmont Key, moving east at
45 knots.
HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats, damage
vessels, and create suddenly higher waves. Make sure all
on board are in a secure location and wearing life
jackets. Waterspouts can become tornadoes if they move
onshore. Keep abreast of the situation. Expect wind gusts
in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher waves, frequent
lightning, and heavy downpours. Make sure all on board
are wearing life jackets.

Terra Ceia Bay, D5 Reef, Manatee Nearshore Reef, Howard Frankland
Bridge, Madeira Beach Reef, Longboat Key, Venice Inlet, Cockroach
Bay, Md1 Reef, M7 Reef, Anna Maria Island, Hernando Beach, M8 Reef,
M17 Reef, Pass-A-Grille Channel, Southwest Channel, D6 Reef, M1
Reef, Tampa Bay, and Hillsborough Bay.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 PM EST for northern and
west central Florida...and the adjacent coastal waters.
Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.
Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.
