Winter Storm Warning issued December 10 at 3:18AM EST until December 11 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Albany NY
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 10
inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.
* WHERE...Schoharie, Western Greene and Western Ulster Counties.
* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 7 PM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult due to snow covered roadways
and low visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the
morning commute on Monday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rain will change to a heavy, wet snow
overnight and continue through Monday early afternoon. The
weight of the snow could lead to downed trees and power lines
resulting in some power outages. The higher amounts will occur
at elevations above 1500 feet.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
