Paradise Township is looking for volunteers to serve on the following committees:
Planning Commission - The Planning Commission consists of five members and acts as an advisory committee to the Board of Supervisors in matters of land planning, subdivision, and land development. Each member serves a term of 4 years. We are looking for one Planning Commission member, your term would start in January 2024. The Planning Commission meets every month on the second Tuesday of the month.
Park and Recreation Committee - The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board consists of five members. Each member of the board is appointed for a 5 year term of service. The board plans the community Easter Egg Hunt and Halloween Party. We are looking for two Park and Recreation Committee members. The Park and Recreation Committee meets prior to each of its annual events.
Emergency Management Coordinator - Emergency Management Coordinators prepare plans and procedures for responding to natural disasters and other emergencies. They also help lead the response during and after emergencies, often in coordination with public safety officials, elected officials, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies.
MUST BE A PARADISE TOWNSHIP RESIDENT.
