Winter Storm Watch issued November 25 at 2:37PM EST until November 29 at 1:00AM EST by NWS Cleveland OH
* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow possible. Total snow accumulations
of 6 to 12 inches possible. Lower snow totals are expected over
southern Crawford, PA. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph
causing drifting and blowing snow.
* WHERE...Northern Erie, Southern Erie and Crawford counties.
* WHEN...From late Sunday night through late Tuesday night.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning and evening commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rain areawide on Sunday will transition to
accumulating lake effect snow Sunday night into Monday morning
and lasting through early Tuesday night. The heaviest snow is
expected late Monday morning through early Tuesday afternoon
when rates of up to 1-2"/hr will be possible. Strong winds will
also create drifting and blowing snow.
