Description
The Harrison Township Police Department has an important announcement!
Due to a mass power outage in the Northern end of Harrison Township, numerous intersections and residences are without power.
Please use extreme caution when driving through the North end of the Township. The intersections of Freeport Road at Highlands Mall Drive, Freeport Road at Oak Manor Drive, Freeport Road at PA Route 908, and the flashing lights on PA Route 908 near the PA Route 28 overpass are currently without power.
As a reminder, motorists are required to treat all malfunctioning traffic lights as a stop sign, not a green light! West Penn Power has been notified.
Harrison Hills Volunteer Fire Company, Citizens Hose Volunteer Fire Company, Citizens Hose Ambulance Service, and Hilltop Hose Volunteer Fire Department members are currently on scene assisting with traffic control.
