Description
The City of Bruceville-Eddy will begin administering no cost microchipping for dogs and cats beginning this month and will continue as long as supplies last!
Microchipping is a requirement for all dogs and cats in our code of ordinances (https://ecode360.com/39344174), but unfortunately, most stray animals in the Bruceville-Eddy area are found without them. This of course makes the task of reunification with owners almost impossible.
This service will be offered by appointment only. Please call 254-859-5700 and ask to speak to Mayor Owens or our Animal Control Officer, Thomas Arnold, to schedule. No violation will be attributed to anyone requesting this assistance.
Did you know that the city also offers a couple of other lesser-known services?
1. Weekly curbside Brush and Bulky pick-up: Just call 254-859-5700 to schedule your pick-up! Limitations apply. https://www.bruceville-eddy.us/brush-and-bulky-collections/
2. Used motor oil collection: Simply swing by the collection center to make your drop off.
