Freeze Watch issued October 31 at 3:36AM EDT until November 2 at 10:00AM EDT by NWS State College PA
* WHAT...For the Freeze Warning, sub-freezing temperatures as low
as 30 expected. For the Freeze Watch, sub-freezing temperatures
as low as 25 possible.
* WHERE...Southern Clinton, Southern Lycoming, Columbia and
Schuylkill Counties.
* WHEN...For the Freeze Warning, until 9 AM EDT this morning.
For the Freeze Watch, from Wednesday evening through Thursday
morning.
* IMPACTS...Freeze conditions will damage sensitive vegetation.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Widespread sub-freezing temperatures
Wednesday night into early Thursday morning will likely bring
and end to the growing season.
Take protective measures now as freezing temperatures could
damage or kill tender plants and vegetation. Potted plants should
be brought inside.
