Flood Advisory issued October 26 at 10:07AM CDT until October 26 at 1:15PM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
counties, Comal, Hays and Travis.
* WHEN...Until 115 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Dangerous flows over low-water crossings.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1007 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Austin, New Braunfels, San Marcos, Pflugerville, Schertz,
Kyle, Buda, Elgin, Dripping Springs, Wimberley, Tanglewood
Forest, Austin Bergstrom Int Airport, Canyon Lake Dam, Canyon
Lake, Lakeway, Manor, Bee Cave, Bulverde, Garden Ridge and
West Lake Hills.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
