Route 28 Ramp Closure Begins Monday in O’Hara Township

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing the closure of the off-ramp from southbound Route 28 to Fox Chapel Road (Exit 8) in O’Hara Township, Allegheny County will begin on Monday, October 23 weather permitting.

The ramp from southbound Route 28 to Fox Chapel Road (Exit 8) will close to traffic around-the-clock beginning at approximately 7 a.m. Monday, October 23 through 5 p.m. Friday, October 27. Additionally, traffic will be shifted onto the shoulder on the on-ramp from Fox Chapel Road to southbound Route 28 from approximately 8 a.m. Wednesday, October 25 through 5 p.m. Friday, October 27. These restrictions will be in place to allow crews from Swank Construction Company to conduct concrete reconstruction work.

• Take RIDC Park (Exit 10) exit
• Turn right onto Gamma Drive
• Turn left onto Alpha Drive
• Turn right onto Freeport Road
• End detour
