Description
A few things you need to know:
Only yard waste that you collect from your yard may be burned. That means no household garbage, lumber, plastic, cardboard, etc.
Do not burn on windy days.
Never leave a fire unattended.
Keep a water hose handy in case your fire escapes.
Fire must be completely out before you leave; if it is a Debris fire, it must be out before dark.
Make sure you are meeting the setbacks required by the state.
REMEMBER, if your fire escapes, you may be liable for the cost of suppression and damage to the property of others.
