Restoration is underway.
Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania service technicians have begun service restoration for approximately 4,000 Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania customers in and around Baden, Conway, Economy Borough and Freedom in Beaver County.
Phased restoration approach
The safety of our customers is our number one priority. With that in mind, Columbia Gas is following a phased approach, with customers grouped into one of six phases based on the scope and complexity of the service restorations in their areas. While some customers may see service restored sooner than others, this approach ensures that the overall restoration is completed in the quickest and safest manner, while ensuring the safety of customers and employees.
The full restoration of service for customers will take several days, so we ask customers for their patience and understanding as we work our way through all six phases of the restoration process.

What customers can expect
Columbia Gas crews are going door-to-door to perform safety checks and relight natural gas appliances. Homes where service has not been restored yet are asked to keep their porch lights on.

For customers not home during the service restoration process, door hangers will be left at their homes informing them of the outage and requesting they call Columbia Gas at 1-888-460-4332 for a service technician to be dispatched to restore service to their homes.
