Special Weather Statement issued October 12 at 4:27AM EDT by NWS Tampa Bay Ruskin FL
At 426 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles west of Crystal River Airport, or 15 miles northwest of
Homosassa Springs, moving northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Inglis, Lebanon, Citronelle, Crystal Manor, and Citrus Springs.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 AM EDT for northern and
west central Florida.
