Waters from Tarpon Springs to Suwannee River FL out 20 to 60 NM...
* Until 215 AM EDT.
* At 110 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
waterspouts were located along a line extending from 8 nm east of
Cedar Key to 22 nm west of Aripeka to 16 nm west of Anclote Key to
8 nm southwest of Indian Rocks Beach, moving northeast at 35 knots.
HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats, damage
vessels, and create suddenly higher waves. Make sure all
on board are in a secure location and wearing life
jackets. Waterspouts can become tornadoes if they move
onshore. Keep abreast of the situation. Expect wind gusts
in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher waves, frequent
lightning, and heavy downpours. Make sure all on board
are wearing life jackets.

Bridge, Madeira Beach Reef, Tarpon Springs, Yankeetown, Treasure

Reef, Hillsborough Bay, Johns Pass, Crystal River, Gandy Bridge,
Indian Rocks Beach, Saint Pete Beach, Dunedin, and Courtney
Campbell Causeway.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 AM EDT for northern and
west central Florida...and the adjacent coastal waters.
Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.
