ANNOUNCEMENT TO RESIDENTS
THE BORUGUH MANAGER WAS SELECTED THROUGH AN INTERVIEW PROCESS TO BE ONE OF THE 25 CLASS MEMBERS OF THE LEADERSHIP LYCOMING CLASS OF 2024.
COUNCIL APPROVED THE BOROUGH MANAGER ANN MARIE BAKER TO PARTCIPATE IN THIS PROGRAM.
LEADERSHIP LYCOMING IS A SPECIALIZED TRAINING PROGRAM DESIFNED TO UNDERSTAND THE NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY IT SERVES AND DEVELOP AND MOTIVATE EFFECTIVE LEADERS COMMITTED TO UTILIZING THEIR SKILLS AND TALENTS FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THEIR COMMUNITY.
The Goals of this program are to
Seek men and women from a broad range of geographical, institutional, and economic backgrounds with an interest in and ability for assuming effective leadership roles.
Prepare this select group by providing information, training and experience designed to upgrade their understanding of the community, its problems and opportunities.
Involve these current and emerging leaders in simulated and actual leadership tasks.
Motivate these individuals to form a close group and a network of established leaders.
