Special Weather Statement issued October 5 at 2:00AM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX
At 200 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Granger Dam to near Round Rock to near
Smithwick. Movement was southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Taylor,
Elgin, Marble Falls, Dripping Springs, Granger, Lexington, Anderson
Mill, Windemere, Serenada, Leander, Hutto, Lakeway, Manor, Lago
Vista, and Bee Cave.
