Description
Interested a different way to give back to your community? Contribute your time, talent, and experience by serving on the City of Bruceville-Eddy's Economic Devlopment Corporation.
City Counicl is currently considering the formation of a Type B Economic Devlopment Corporation (BEEDC).
A ballot proposition will go before the voters this November, that if passed, would institute a 0.0025% sales tax for economic devlopment purposes.
The Board of Directors, appointed and serving at the pleasure of City Council, will work in tandem with their priorities to establish a program of projects that will ultimately utilize these funds for the betterment of our community.
Directors need not be citizens of the City of Bruceville-Eddy but must generally reside within 10 miles of the corporate limits of the City.
Meetings of the Board will intially be set at once per quarter.
