The Borough has been notified by PA American Water that they and their contractor, Greeley and Hanson, will be in our Borough beginning next week to assess the type of material that your water service lines are made of. Water service lines connect PA American lines to your home or property and can be made of copper, plastic, galvanized steel or lead. The water company is asking for help. A representative of PA American Water or Greeley and Hanson may come to your door and ask a few questions. All representatives will carry official company photo ID badges and wear logoed, high visibility vests. Your cooperation is needed in helping PA American Water meet the goal of identifying and replacing lead service lines.
