Special Weather Statement issued September 16 at 11:17AM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX
At 1117 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Bertram to Spicewood to near Johnson City.
Movement was southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Burnet, Marble Falls,
Dripping Springs, Bertram, Round Mountain, Anderson Mill, Leander,
Lakeway, Lago Vista, Bee Cave, Horseshoe Bay, Hudson Bend, The Hills,
Johnson City, Meadowlakes, and Liberty Hill.
