Good Morning Wesleyville Residents,
We wish to inform you that Erie Water Works is currently conducting essential maintenance work on the water main located on Bird Drive. As part of these ongoing efforts, Bird Drive is temporarily closed from Prospect Ave to Buffalo Road.
Additionally, later today Erie Water Works plans to carry out maintenance on the southbound side of Bird Drive, spanning from Glendale Ave to Woodlawn Ave. At present, we do not have confirmation regarding whether both lanes of Bird Drive will be closed for this second location, or if the northbound lane will remain accessible.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we appreciate your understanding.
Furthermore, it is important to note that the Borough is not always notified in advance of these repairs conducted by utility companies. If you happen to observe any work being undertaken within the Borough that you believe should be brought to our attention, we kindly request that you contact the Borough office to share this valuable information.
