Special Weather Statement issued September 9 at 11:12PM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX
At 1112 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Shiner to near Campbellton. Movement was
southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Pleasanton, Cuero, Gonzales, Floresville, Yoakum, Jourdanton, Poteet,
Kenedy, Karnes City, Hallettsville, Poth, Yorktown, Shiner,
Stockdale, Kosciusko, Campbellton, Nixon, Runge, Falls City, and
Smiley.
