DEBRIS CLEAN-UP:
1. ENTIRE COUNTY- Hurricane Idalia had widespread wind effects countywide and we ask that you place your vegetative yard debris by the road in the right of way for pick-up. If you are in an area that did not have major flooding & storm surge there WILL NOT be construction debris or white goods pick-up assistance.
CRISIS CLEAN-UP ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE:
1. If you need assistance with clean-up due to Hurricane Idalia, please call the crisis clean-up hotline 800-451-1954.
2. This hotline is set up to connect residents with local relief organizations, community groups & faith communities.
3. This hotline will remain open until September 15.
DISASTER RECOVERY CENTERS:
1. There are disaster recovery centers being set up in both Yankeetown (@ the Inglis Community Center, 137 Hwy 40 W, Inglis, FL 34449) & Cedar Key (@ front of Cedar Key Fire Rescue, 489 1st St, Cedar Key, FL 32625). These DRCs will be stood up and operational mid-week to later this week.
2. These centers are for residents seeking disaster relief assistance.
3. If you cannot physically come to these DRCs, please call 800-621-3362 or go online to www.DisasterAssistance.gov.
