Flood Watch issued August 29 at 3:15AM EDT until August 31 at 8:00AM EDT by NWS Tampa Bay Ruskin FL

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Florida, including the following
areas, Coastal Citrus, Coastal Hernando, Coastal Hillsborough,
Coastal Levy, Coastal Manatee, Coastal Pasco, Coastal Sarasota,
Inland Citrus, Inland Hernando, Inland Hillsborough, Inland Levy,
Inland Manatee, Inland Pasco, Inland Sarasota, Pinellas and Sumter.

* WHEN...Through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are
possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Tropical Storm Idalia is expected to strengthen into a
hurricane and bring heavy rainfall to portions of west
central Florida. The heaviest rainfall is expected tonight
and Wednesday.

Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
