Pick Up the Poconos Day is back to pick up litter around the Pocono Mountains on September 23, 2023. This event is intended to encourage everyone to do their part in keeping the Poconos clean and green.
Help us preserve the natural beauty of the Pocono Mountains.
The pristine scenery of the Poconos region has inspired visitors and residents alike for centuries, and we want future generations to continue to enjoy the beautiful local landscapes and to feel that spark of connection with the environment while experiencing our hills, forests, lakes and rivers...but we need your help!
At least 33,705 bags of litter have been picked up across 1,677 miles and properly disposed of through Pick Up the Poconos initiatives over the last five years, and we're just getting started.
