The National Weather Service in Ruskin has issued a
* Special Marine Warning for...
Coastal waters from Tarpon Springs to Suwannee River FL out 20
NM...
Waters from Tarpon Springs to Suwannee River FL out 20 to 60 NM...
* Until 400 PM EDT.
* At 300 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 11 nm northeast of Cedar Key to 12 nm southwest of
Ozello to near Port Richey, moving west at 25 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher
waves, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours. Make sure
all on board are wearing life jackets.
* Locations impacted include...
Ozello, Crystal River, Hernando Beach, Port Richey, Anclote Key,
Bayport, Yankeetown, Cedar Key, Aripeka, and Tarpon Springs.
